Massachusetts law states the following:
"A Massachusetts resident 18 years of age or older who has been diagnosed by a certifying physician as having a debilitating medical condition may become a qualifying patient."
The state explains that the following qualifies as debilitating:
Cancer - Glaucoma - HIV - AIDS - Hepatitis C
ALS - Crohn’s Parkinson’s disease - Multiple sclerosis, and
Other debilitating conditions as determined in writing by a qualifying patient’s certifying healthcare provider.*
*Doctor's may, in their discretion, decide that you qualify for medical marijuana because of your unique circumstances.
